Waaree Energies Limited successfully completed solar rooftop across all 12 stations of Mumbai Metro, the project with high quality and Zero accidents. The entire rooftop solar power generating system has installed capacity of 2.29 MW which is around 30% of Mumbai Metro’s total power usage. This project will power all Mumbai Metro stations with Waaree Solar PV modules. This will also result in the savings of carbon emission of approximate 2700 tons per annum.Vietnam Project – 49.5MW

National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) at Kawas has become the first power unit in the state to install 1MW grid-connected floating solar project, in April 2019. This is the first floating solar power project in Gujarat.

The project has been developed for Song Giang Solar Power on a 60-hectare site in Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa province. It was completed in 120 days and is expected to generate more than 78,600 MWh of electricity per year. The power generated by the plant will be sold to state-owned utility Vietnam Electricity, under a 20-year feed-in tariff (FIT) set by the Vietnamese government. Waaree Energies is also handling O&M services for the $40 million installation.
